South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia invited me to be part of their BBQ. It’s a year-end celebration, free for students, and the third time in the past two years I’ve visited the college! Strolling magic is a perfect fit for events like this.
Free food only happens once a year, and hundreds of people took advantage of hot dogs, burgers, and all the trimmings hosted by administrators and student government. There was a long line, and having magic is the perfect diversion. People have a blast and it makes the wait a pleasure. Towards the end the line diminished and I moved inside to the Student Union Building for more close-up magic.
Thanks to Aaron M. with the SPSCC media department, for sharing these photos.
In September I’m attending a conference for student leaders of community colleges in Wenatchee. Later that month I’m returning to Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland to perform for their back-to-school BBQ. (It’s my second time in a year visiting them!) Learn more about my magic for colleges and campus activities.
