Daddy-Daughter Dance Magic

Many schools and parks and recreation departments hold Father-Daughter or Daddy-Daughter Dances, and last night I was part of the big shindig at Curtis High School in University Place. It was sponsored by the University Place Parks and Recreation Department. They’ve been doing this for several years, and it is hugely popular; they sold out at 650 people! It was neat seeing the dads and girls all dressed up. There was a professional photograher (with multiple photographers and sets, to handle the number of people), cookies and cupcakes and refreshments, and of course DANCING.

Leanna Mason with Entertainment Masters did an excellent job. At any one time there were hundreds of girls dancing and dozens of dads doing likewise. Leanna led the group in dances and limbo.
