Winlock Lions Club

The Winlock Lions Club celebrated their 65th anniversary and wanted to add a extra touch of magic to their banquet. Voila! Lion Cindy, who hired me for her son’s high school graduation party a decade ago, saw me at the Winlock Library over the holidays and knew I’d be a perfect fit.

The event was held at the Hope Grange in Winlock.  It’s a classic old building built in 1904.  Walking around the stage and looking at photos, plaques, and awards was a trip back in time.  A lot of the original fixtures and hardware are still as they were over a century ago.  There is a small stage that was perfect for my after-dinner magic show, and the acoustics are excellent. I had a blast with their members and guests, and the evening ended with a standing ovation!

“Jeff Evans provided the perfect blend of amazing magic and humor, to make our Winlock Lions Club 65th Charter Anniversary celebration a hugh success! I would highly recommend Jeff for your next event!”

Jo Ann, thanks for the posting! That was a fun evening. I was in Winlock again the other day doing a school assembly at the elementary and noticed that the outdoor sign in Winlock (across from the Egg) even had a nice mention about the Lions’ 65th anniversary. Cool!
