Last night I performed magic for the Integrated Financial Services client appreciation banquet at the Fircrest Golf Club in Tacoma. The owner, Gary, is very business savvy and does an excellent job of marketing his services. He understands that hosting events like this classy dinner at a beautiful country club is a great way to thank current clients and strengthen relationships. And, several of his current clients brought guests or friends to introduce to Gary.
Expensive prospecting? Sure, but it’s better to consider what the return on investment is. It depends on your business. What is the lifetime value of a client is to you? In this case, Integrated Financial Services does everything from mutual funds and IRAs to life insurance and filing tax returns. Everyone who attended filled out a questionnaire so that Gary and his staff could follow up if they had questions or would like to learn more about various services.
As I mingled with guests and got to know some of them, many of them mentioned how pleased they were to be working with Gary and his team. Several of them gushed about his caring personality, attention to personal service, and integrity. They were trying to sell ME on using his services, and that’s the best testimonial you can receive! I am very confident that many of the guests will be meeting with Gary soon to learn more about how they might work together.
