Client Appreciation Night Magic
Financial planners have a special relationship with their clients. Clients often times invest the bulk of their life’s earnings with their financial planner, so obviously they need to trust them implicitly. Jason Parker, owner of Parker Financial, periodically hosts special events for his clients. In the past this has included dinner at a nice restaurant, tour of a winery, and more. Typically, 35-50 people attend.
This was a special occasion, as Heather, one of his staff, recently obtained special accreditation that enables her to help clients in new ways. And, it was also a way to say “thanks” to clients. They were amazed to have a hundred of their clients RSVP and attend. The room was barely large enough to hold everyone, and Anthony’s Restaurant had to bring chairs in from the dining room to have enough seating for everyone. Which means that I am a very, very big draw.
Or, it could be the fantastic waterfront view and promise of a delicious steak or salmon dinner.
“Jeff went the extra mile to become part of our hosting team, keeping guests completely engaged as they arrived with strolling magic during the social hour. After our meeting and dinner he presented a show that will be long remembered. Jeff delivers more than just illusions; with his impeccable timing, it was more like watching stand-up comedy with a twist! He is interactive and plays both to the volunteer assistants from the audience and his illusions. I consider it my privilege to have had Jeff for our event; he is a professional in every sense of the word. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! Thanks Jeff!

This evening was strictly for current clients and their spouses; it wasn’t a recruiting tool, they weren’t selling a new service, or asking for referrals. (Not that I’m against any of that!)
How nice is Jason Parker? A gentleman told me that he is planning a trip soon to another country. Jason bought and mailed him a travel book about the country so he could read up in advance of his vacation. Wow!

Let’s talk if you are planning a staff or client appreciation event and want to insure that it’s a resounding success. My strolling magic is ideal for the social hour. It’s a fun way to make that time while guests are arriving and meeting each other breeze by. (It’s also an excellent way to cover delays in the kitchen, late arrivals, and more.) My after-dinner stand-up magic show is full of clean comedy and amazing magic that your guests will remember long afterwards.
