‘Tis the season for wedding shows and open houses! My second consecutive day of such events took me to Events on 6th Avenue in Tacoma. This classic, Gothic-architecture building is picture-perfect for weddings and receptions built in 1925. Located in the heart of the Sixth Avenue Business District, it is constructed of Walker Cut Stone from the Wilkeson quarry. The sanctuary includes stained glass windows on the north and west facades and a bell tower on the northwest corner. The space seats 200 and includes a choir loft, a vaulted ceiling, and a still-functioning pipe organ dedicated in 1926. Learn more at http://eventson6th.com.
