Tacoma Art Museum Celebrates
Building’s 10th Anniversary
The Tacoma Art Museum’s building is turning 10 years old and they threw a party to celebrate! Best of all, museum admission and all festival events were free. Entertainment for the day included yours truly, magician Jeff Evans, along with the music ensemble Jazz Misfits, and musical entertainment by the students of Grant Elementary. Hands-on art activities included decorating a flat Leroy (the museum’s dog mascot) and the chance to design a pop-up flower garden card.
