Lacey Parks and Recreation hosted me for their Mother-Son Tropical Magic Night. Kudos to Jeannette Sieler and the team for creating such a fun night for everyone! When they arrived, moms and sons could put on leis and sunglasses and straw hats, then headed for a photo session to commemorate the evening. There were stations with tropical-themed crafts. The make-your-own fruit kabobs and the desserts tasted as good as they looked!
- I’m all for a plant-based diet now!
- Yum, yum – really delicious desserts for the moms and sons
- Build your own fuit kabobs
- You can almost feel the sand beneath your feet!
- This is the Lacey Parks and Rec team, monkeying around before guests arrive
- Calm before the storm: ready for the boys
All of the kids went home with a deck of cards and three easy-to-do magic tricks that I taught them to perform. Miss out on this one? I present several magic workshops each year through Lacey and Olympia Parks and Recreation departments. Send me a note for more details. Or, order my Magic Tricks and Secrets DVD online now so you can start learning magic right away.
“Do you still do birthday party magic shows?”
Apparently some people think I may be too famous (?) and busy to do kids’ birthday parties, but the answer is absolutely yes! I have a blast performing for kids parties (ages 5+) and, as I write this, am doing one birthday party this afternoon (and a corporate event in the evening), with two more birthday party shows tomorrow. I live in Olympia and do most of my private parties within a one hour drive time, although I can travel further with additional travel fees.
